MISSION STATEMENT
H’ulh-etun - Better quality of health for everyone.
The mission statement is based on the traditional value and belief that it is the inherent right of everyone to have the best quality of health. It is further based on the belief and conviction that the way to heal ourselves is through self empowerment, education and awareness as well as skill building and obtaining knowledge about disease processes and healthy alternative lifestyles that will create less stress in our lives as First Nations people.
In order for us to fulfill that role, it requires us, individually, to be the best possible leaser that we can be, in order to truly be in the place of facilitation, the process obtaining better quality of health for everyone.
The mission statement is further based on the belief that we must respect and honour people and deliver services and programs without stripping the dignity of the people that we work with.
