Board of Directors

JENNIFER WILLIAMS, CHAIR
Jennifer Williams is a member of the Lyackson Tribe of the Coast Salish Nation.  Jennifer has a Baccalaureate of Nursing and is the Senior Nurse and Coordinator for the Healthy Families Program at Ts’ewulhtun Health Centre of the Cowichan Tribes.  Jennifer prides herself on her dedication and commitment to her community and serves as a Councillor for Lyackson and a representative on the Inter-Tribal Health Authority Board of Directors.  Jennifer is married to Art Jones, has 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters. 

REBECCA JAMES, DIRECTOR
Rebecca James is a member of the Penelakut Tribe of the Coast Salish Nation.  Rebecca attended the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology and is the Housing Administrator for the Penelakut Tribe, a position she has held for the last 15 years.  Prior to this, Rebecca worked as a commercial fishing deckhand for 10 years.  In addition to her role on the H’ulh-etun Health Society Board, Rebecca also is a Councillor for Penelakut Tribe and a Director on the Penelakut Seafood Corporation Board. Rebecca lives on Kuper Island and has four sons, two daughters’ in-law and three grandchildren. 

RANDY DANIELS, DIRECTOR
Randy Daniels is a member of the Malahat Tribe of the Coast Salish Nation.  Randy works for Malahat Fisheries Department for 10 years.   Randy also attends meetings in the Temexw Treaty First Nation where they are in treaty negotiations with Tsouke, Beecher Bay, Songhees,  Nanoose, Canada and B.C.   Randy participates and assists in traditional longhouse gatherings and war canoe races.  He has been married to Jennifer for 24 years and they have four grown children.

TYLER GEORGE, DIRECTOR
Tyler is a member of the Halalt First Nation and has been recently elected as a councillor in April of 2009.  Tyler has worked in Seattle, WA as a Finance Manager for 6 years and has moved back to Vancouver Island to work for his community.   Tyler sits on the Kw’umut Lelum Child & Family Services Board of Directors and has an avid interest in Economic Development for his nation.  Tyler feels privileged to be a part of the H’ulh-etun Health Society looks forward to building a strong, proactive Society to better serve our community.
